Helping leaders and organizations navigate complexity, clarify direction, and move forward
I work with founders, executives, and mission-driven organizations when priorities feel unclear, efforts feel misaligned, or progress feels harder than it should be.
The name Our Olive Branch reflects something personal: an effort to make this work a genuine offering – toward clearer thinking, thoughtful stewardship, and care for the people and broader world our work touches.
THE REALITY
Most organizations don't have a single problem.
They are dealing with a mix of unclear priorities, misaligned efforts, and strategies that don’t quite fit how the organization actually operates.
From the outside, this often looks like a marketing issue, a growth problem, or an operational gap.
In practice, it’s usually a clarity and alignment problem.
WHERE THIS SHOWS UP
Founders and business owners
- Too many priorities, not enough traction
- Marketing that isn't connecting
- Growth creating complexity
Mission-driven organizations
- Strong purpose, but unclear messaging
- Fundraising that feels harder than it should
- Teams working hard but not fully aligned
Leaders
- Carrying too much alone
- No space to think clearly
- Decisions that feel heavier than they should
WHAT I DO
I work with leaders and organizations to understand what is actually driving results, identify what is not working and why, and simplify priorities and direction.
My background spans strategy, operations, and systems — which means I don’t just think about direction. I understand how decisions actually play out.
In practice, this may involve redesigning how a team makes decisions, clarifying messaging that isn’t landing, rethinking operational workflows, or helping a leader see a situation more clearly before acting.
This is not analysis on demand or frameworks delivered.
It is a relationship – built through context, trust, and familiarity with your situation – that helps you think more clearly because someone real is paying sustained attention.

Real examples of my work
A few examples of how this work shows up - through both ongoing advisory relationships and focused organizational engagements.
Stabilizing a business and helping prepare it for a successful acquisition
- Worked directly with ownership at a manufacturer in the commercial roofing industry to eliminate a ~$40,000 monthly burn rate, align conflicting stakeholders, strengthen operations, and help position the business for a successful acquisition by a major industry supplier.
Improving operations by seeing what leadership couldn't easily see
- During a major retailer's multi-state expansion, I was asked to assess training processes. That work expanded into broader operational recommendations around culture, communication, and how leadership decisions were actually landing in the field. Several were later adopted at scale. I also designed a new operational process from scratch, working across regulators, distributors, and corporate leadership, then trained managers statewide on its implementation.
Helping mission-driven leaders navigate complexity without losing the mission
- I've worked with nonprofit and community leaders facing growth challenges, governance questions, funding pressure, and internal misalignment. Helping clarify priorities, strengthen decision-making, and move forward with greater clarity and alignment. This has included board governance support, strategic planning, curriculum development, and organizational communications.
Serving as a trusted thinking partner for leaders carrying a lot alone
- Some of my most valuable work is quieter. Conversation with founders, executives, nonprofit leaders, and public servants who need perspective more than another deliverable. Someone to help them see what's actually happening, challenge assumptions, and think clearly about what comes next.
How We Might Begin
Most work starts with a conversation.
Sometimes the need is obvious.
Sometimes what’s wrong is harder to name.
If something important feels unclear, stuck, or heavier than it should, that’s often the right moment to begin.
Let's talk
Most of my work starts with a conversation. If something in your organization feels unclear, stuck, or off track, I’d be glad to talk.
